A
long time ago, when I chose to be in the Interdisciplinary Studies Program, it seemed to me as if it was a great alternative.
It was a great alternative because not only has it allowed me to focus on more than one general area, but it gave me
a broader picture of my future expectations. It also has given me more experience in many different fields
of multiple industries. Having
concentrated on more than one area will help me choose a more advanced career path as well. My future is in the works,
and Interdisciplinary Studies has helped out greatly.

Finding a distinction between two different areas that I specifically chose to concentrate
on has been quite challenging but invigorating. The BIS Program was designed
for you, the students, to find the correlation between two different areas, expecting hardships in the beginning but
gradually finding the correct path in the end. The program teaches you to successfully
excel once you have climbed the hill trying to figure out what that correlation between the two chosen areas is. When I first started I had a hard time reasoning with how different my two concentration
areas were at first, but I have learned over the past couple years that everything corresponds to each other, you just have
to find the right technique to get there.
